Dressing Room Diaries

I decided to go to the mall the other day and quickly realized why I do most of my shopping online. I tend to get super high anxiety around crowds of people but luckily the Pats were playing the Jaguars so, it was quiet (yay sports!) Also, it’s amazing how many things are cheaper online than in the store. How do these brick and mortars expect to stay in business?!?

Since, there’s so many good deals here, I wanted to put all my try-ons in one post making it super easy to shop. Click on each picture to see the details. So, come on in to the dressing room with me!

Red Photo Valentine's Day Sale Facebook Post (1)

Love is in the air, can you feel it? Valentine’s Day is less than a month away and whether you’re married, in a relationship, or just in love with tacos, it’s a day to celebrate and appreciate love. Luckily, if you’re in a relationship with tacos, you don’t have to break a sweat thinking of gifts due to the fact that tacos typically don’t like gifts. Since, I struggle every year finding a gift for my boyfriend, I figure others do as well. So, I  put together a few ideas to help you gals out and all are under $50!

If you’d like to go the handmade route, I made this for my boyfriend a couple years ago and he still reads it often. I took a deck of 52 playing cards and printed out a bunch of cute text messages. I then taped each message on a playing card and hole punched a hole at the top of each card. Finally, I took a piece of yarn and tied it all together! This was incredibly time consuming but definitely worth the effort!

Next up, if you’re looking for some ideas for your galentine or just to reward yourself for being so dang awesome, here’s a couple ideas under $55.

Stitch Fix on a budget

I forgot to do one of these last month but I’m back again with a holiday edition! As you may know, I love Stitch Fix but feel their pricing can be more affordable. So, each month (or every other month,) I find 5 items to create a “fix” with all Stitch Fix brands at lower prices. If you’ve missed my previous “create your own stitch fix” posts, you can read the latest one here.

This next “fix” is a bit dressier. If you have an upcoming holiday party, either of these looks would work perfectly. You can pair the Kut from the Kloth dress with the Street Level velvet clutch and Nine West heels. If you’re not in the mood for a dress, the Bobeau convertible top can be worn off the shoulder or on the shoulder and paired with the Liverpool pants, Street Level clutch and Nine West heels.

Gift Guide for men

I don’t know about you but, I would personally rather eat a jar full of mayonnaise than shop for a man. There just never seems like there’s a lot of options nor do men seem like they ever “need” anything. So, when you feel like pulling your hair out shopping for your dad, husband, brother, etc., I hope this guide provides you with some relief (and saves those hair follicles of yours!)

I tried to incorporate gifts for every type of man I could think of. There’s the sports lover, the golf lover, the beer drinker, the chef, and the well dressed man. All items are less than $100! Make sure to hit the “arrow” button to see all of the items.
