Stitch-Fix-February-2017-Inside-Box.jpg

I ‘m anxiously awaiting the arrival of my next Stitch Fix but thought it would be fun to create my own fix for Spring. If you aren’t sure what Stitch Fix is or haven’t tried them yet, check out my latest review here. I challenged myself to only include Stitch Fix brands but at lower prices. If you are familiar with Stitch Fix, you know that each fix contains 5 items and a note. However, I got so excited while writing this post that I had to create two separate fixes. OK, enough chit chat, on to the clothes!

For this spring fix, pair the Blu Pepper Top with the Everly kimono. The kimono is perfect for Spring and will look great with this pair of Liverpool jeans and Franco Sarto wedges! When the weather gets a little warmer, pair the top with the white Kut from the Kloth shorts and you’re ready for the heat!

  1. Blu Pepper Top ($17)
  2. Everly Kimono ($39)
  3. Liverpool Jeans ($29.99)
  4. Franco Sarto Wedges ($22….whaaaat??)
  5. Kut from the Kloth White Shorts ($24.97)
    TOTAL: $132.96

For this next fix, I focused on current trends and creating a casual look. Pair the RD Style off-the-shoulder top with the Liverpool capris and Nine West wedges for a look that is so on fleek with this Spring’s trends. If you’re going for a more casual look, throw on the Kut from the Kloth lace-up top with the Liverpool capris and add the Seavees for a bright pop of Spring color!

  1. RD Style Off-The-Shoulder Top ($29.99)
  2. Liverpool Capris ($44.99)
  3. Nine West Wedges ($32.99)
  4. Kut from the Kloth Lace Up Top ($24.99)
  5. Seavees ($34.99)
    TOTAL: $167.95

I may or may not have gone a little overboard with adding to my Spring wardrobe. There were just so many cute Spring trends this year, I couldn’t help myself! Here’s what I have recently added to my closet.

Blush was such a popular color this Spring that it was only necessary, I bought a blush t-shirt. I also purchased these Steve Madden slip-ons that are great for that in-between weather before flip-flop season.

I’ve posted about this bomber jacket before but I had to gush about it again. I told you…I was all about that blush this season! A couple more additions included this Madewell tank top, Vince Camuto cross-body purse, Nine West floral flats, and Converse sneakers! p.s. the flats are 20% off right now and the purse is an extra 20% off w/ code MOM!

JCrew Factory had some amazing deals a couple weeks ago so I scooped up this striped tank top to pair with my nine west floral flats (mentioned above.) Is there a better combination than floral and stripes? That was a rhetorical question…the answer is no.

Perhaps my most favorite Spring addition was this Wayf Floral Off The Shoulder Blouse. Floral, ruffles, and off the shoulder are all a-ok in my book!

I was so diggin’ the off the shoulder trend that I ordered another one in yep, you guessed it, BLUSH! Shown here with Vince Camuto Tarita heels (I also adore these!!!)

On point with the floral and ruffle trend, this top from American Eagle was such a perfect addition to my Spring wardrobe! Paired here with my Tom’s wedges. Great for date night!

Another trend I fell in love with this Spring was the twist tee look. I also bought this tassel necklace (under $10!) that literally goes with everything. One of these tops is from Nordstrom and the other from Amazon. Can you guess which one is which?

Last but not least, these criss-cross front tops were my jam. I obviously had to get two colors! These unfortunately are all sold out but you can get a similar one from amazon here.

And there ya have it! Which addition was your favorite? Are you rockin’ any other Spring trends that I missed?

A classic white tee is a staple every woman should have in her closet. My absolute favorite is the tees from Madewell and you’re in luck because it’s on sale here for $15! If you’re reading this after they sell out, you can always get one here for less than $20! Size down as these run big. There are so many different ways you can transform this classic staple and I’ve narrowed it down to my five favorites.

1.UTILITY VEST

This first look is perfect for transitioning to Spring or Fall. Throw an olive utility vest over anything and I’m in love. Add in a pair of jeans and leopard flats and I’m even more in love.

2.BOLD CARDIGAN

In order to jazz up an otherwise ordinary white tee, I like to throw on a bold cardigan with a pair of white jeans. The all white look contrasts nicely with the pop of color in the cardigan.

3.BLAZERNext up is a dressier look with a black blazer, jeans, statement necklace, and black heels. Depending on your job, this may be wearable to the office and perfect to head out for drinks after.

4.BOMBER  JACKET

Another way to change the look of a plain white tee is by adding a bomber jacket on top. Throw on a pair of jeans and perforated booties and voila!

5.Cut-off Shorts & Floral Flats

Last but not least, this super easy look  pairs the same white tee with cut off shorts and floral flats. Please don’t mind my knobby knees and pasty legs. Don’t mind the pasty legs, this girl seriously needs a tan!

There ya have it folks! Which look is your favorite?

There are currently deals going on everywhere! Thus, leading us to another installment of “What’s In My Cart Wednesday!”

This post contains affiliate links. For more information, please read my disclosure for more info.

First off, J. Crew Factory has 50% off most items! Boy, are there some cute ones in there! Here’s what I’ve got currently in my cart and I guarantee they won’t just be in my cart for much longer 🙂
My Nordstrom cart is currently stocked with a pair of jeans that include the word “butter” in them…I mean, how can those not be glorious?

Macy’s is also having their friends and family sale which includes 30% off all departments except beauty (which is 10% off) with code “friends.” I’ve got some good stuff in this cart as well!

Last but not least, Lucky Brand is offering 40% off already reduced sale prices! These are the shoes currently in my cart.

Clearly, I need to go back and click the dreaded “remove from cart” button because sadly, I’m not made of money. Happy shopping 🙂

Hi everyone! Here’s my first installment of weekend wanderings where I’ll give you an inside look at what I did the past weekend as well as the outfit I did it in!

On Saturday, I had the best brunch of my life. Most places don’t offer brunch on Saturdays so I was elated to find one that actually does. Not only does this place have the best food but they offer a “bucket of bubbles.” For $30, you get a bottle of champagne, orange juice, and grapefruit juice. Considering other places charge about $10 for one mimosa, this was a phenomenal deal! If you live in the Boston area, I highly recommend checking out Lincoln in South Boston.

After brunch, my boyfriend and I got drinks at a place on the water in Quincy, Massachusetts. This place is attached to a Marina and perfect view for boat watching. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and dare I say, the sangria was even better?

As you can see, Saturday’s theme was booze but Sunday’s was a little different. I had made an appointment with a Psychic Medium several months ago and chickened out on going at least four times. It’s something I’ve never done before but am fascinated about the whole idea. So, yesterday I decided it was time to overcome my fear and go see the “Beantown Medium.” When I walked in, the smell of insense was overpowering but soothing at the same time. Light music was also playing in the background during the entire reading. The Medium was nothing short of fantastic and made me feel so comfortable. I won’t give you too many details but I believe now more than ever that those who have left us are still with us in spirit. She knew things that there was just no other way of her knowing without spirit intervention. If you are a skeptic on these things (trust me, I still am somewhat,) I highly recommend making an appointment. Not only do I believe I was able to connect with those who have passed, I have less fear and anxiety about death. It was definitely an experience I will never forget!

On a lighter note, here’s what I wore!
