It’s Christmas in July! The Nordstrom Anniversary is my absolute favorite sale of the year and it’s approaching faster than a Kardashian can get divorced. I’ve learned a lot about this sale over the past couple of years so, here’s everything you need to know including important dates, tips, and tricks for shopping the sale!

IMPORTANT DATES
The sale begins for Nordstrom cardholders on July 12, 2019 at 12:30 pm EST and will be open to the public beginning on July 19, 2019. I know that some people don’t like credit cards but in my opinion, it’s worth signing up for in order to get early access. Things go FAST and many items will be sold out by the time the sale is open to the public. Last year things weren’t restocked for public access so having a card is key. It’s important to note that you don’t have to actually USE the credit card in order to get access on July 12, you just need to have one. Prices will go up August 6.
SIGN UP FOR A NORDSTROM CREDIT CARD
Right now, if you sign up for a card, you will receive a $60 Nordstrom note (which is free money) when you make a purchase upon approval. This is $20 more than last year! You can spend ANY amount and still receive the note! Since shopping early is the only way to ensure you’ll get the items you want, having the card is key! Sign up for a card here.
IMPORTANT INFO
- The items that will be available for sale are all NEW women’s fall items! The sale will also include home decor, kids, mens, jewelry, and beauty!
- You will be allowed to use your “triple points” days during the sale.
- Popular brands that are typically part of the sale include Barefoot Dreams, Caslon, Born, Vince Camuto, Halogen, Ugg, Blondo and much more!
- The catalog is available to browse browse now but I never find the catalog very impressive. The catalog mostly shows high end pieces and the sale typically includes much better/ more affordable items. Browse here.
TIPS & TRICKS
- Shop early! It’s best to shop as soon as the sale goes live which once again will be July 12, 2019 at 12:30 pm EST.
- Nordstrom does not save stock to be released throughout the sale but you can keep checking back for restocks on popular items as returns come back.
- Shop online! The stores can be crowded and the selection can be extremely limited. More importantly, who likes shopping while wearing pants anyways? #notthisgirl
- Hit “checkout” immediately! Since everything is free shipping, I suggest checking out every time you place something in your cart in order to avoid the item getting sold out.
