Apples, and pumpkins, and ghosts, oh my! We’ve officially entered Fall and I couldn’t be happier! Call me basic but Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the summertime but there comes a point where I no longer crave the heat and desire that crisp air and all the “fall-ness” that goes along with it. Here’s a little post with 7 ways to embrace that Fall air and make the most of the season.

1. Go Apple Picking
It’s officially “drag your boyfriend apple picking” season which is my favorite Fall activity! We go to the same apple orchard every fall and I wish I could go all year round. Between the crisp apples and the cider donuts, there is truly nothing better. We unfortunately haven’t had a chance to go this year yet, so I’ll leave you with a picture from 9 years ago…how’s that for a “legit” blogger?
2. Decorate with ALL the Fall things
Nothing gets you in the Fall mood more than coming home to a house that looks like it just blew Fall chunks everywhere! Here’s a few ideas to make your home a “Fall-y” one.3. Cozy up with Cardigans
As soon as there’s a little chill in the air, I bust out all the cozy cardigans. Some would say, I’m cardigan obsessed but I just say that I know what I like.

4. Make Caramel Apple Sangria
After apple picking, lots of people like to bake pies and apple crisps but I’d much prefer a little sangria.

To make my favorite sangria, all you have to do is add the following ingredients and mix together:
- 1 (750 ml) bottle pinot grigio -or your favorite mild white wine
- 1 cup caramel flavored vodka
- 6 cups apple cider
- 2 medium apples -cored and chopped
5. Carve a pumpkin
I have the hardest time carving pumpkins but these somehow came out pretty decent! I think it was the added aforementioned sangria that made all the difference 🙂
Here’s a few things you may need to carve a pumpkin of your own:

6. Buy ANYTHING Barefoot Dreams
If you have yet to try this brand, you are truly missing out. I was a little slow to jump on the bandwagon because I didn’t think anything could possibly be worth the splurge but boy, was I wrong! I can be seen below actually snuggling with my cardigan in the car.

7. Sit by the fire
I know, it’s not quite that cold yet but there is just something so calm and relaxing about a fire, am I right? As you can see below, I clearly do not have a real fireplace but a gal can dream, right? I ordered this tv stand that comes with an electric fireplace and absolutely love it!

Enjoy Fall ya’ll!!
